Three Partners. Different Journeys. One Common Goal: Amplify Partner Business
Partnerships' growth strategies that scale how you want to scale
No Two (or Three) Clients Are the Same. Here’s How We Helped APTIS, GitKraken, and Chili Shelf Grow - Each in Their Own Way.
At Fun Inc, we don’t have a single playbook. We use years of experience in program/project management and growth to build strategies around who you are, where you are, and what you want next.
There’s something we say often:
Growth isn’t linear. And it’s definitely not one-size-fits-all.
Working with Atlassian Marketplace vendors across different stages of maturity has taught us that the best results come from leaning into what makes each company unique and tailoring the strategy accordingly.
Here’s what that looked like in three very different client journeys focused on the same goal.
APTIS: Learn Fast to Scale Fast
APTIS GmbH had the product, the traction, and a strong market presence with their Epic Sum Up app. What they needed was a lift-off: visibility, process, and the infrastructure to support growth beyond what their (very capable) internal team could carry alone.
We helped them focus and accelerate. That meant tightening their messaging, identifying the low-hanging fruit in partnerships, and building internal systems to ensure no momentum was lost. We weren’t just advisors - we were an extension of their team, meeting weekly, solving problems in real time, and making sure nothing got stuck in strategy mode.
The result? A scalable partnership strategy, repeatable processes, and a more substantial external presence in just a few months.
GitKraken: Zooming Out to Build Long-Term Strategic Alignment
GitKraken had a different challenge. As a more established player, they weren’t looking to move fast—they wanted to move smart. Their Marketplace apps were already strong, but there was a sense that the pieces could fit together more cohesively with more involvement from their partner network.
Fun Inc’s role here was to help clarify the big picture. We facilitated strategic conversations across product, marketing, and leadership teams. We identified where messaging needed tightening and where the organization needed to let go of legacy structures that weren’t serving them anymore.
This wasn’t about go-to-market velocity. It was about cross-team alignment, a clearer product narrative, and setting the stage for future opportunities already within reach.
Chili Shelf: Laying The Foundation of a New Business Approach
With new investors and fresh energy to match, Chili Shelf came to us curious and ready to make Partnerships a core part of their growth engine. They understood one key principle early on: partnerships aren’t transactions, they’re conversations. And those conversations need to start on a strong note.
Our role? Help them turn intention into traction. Within days of identifying target Services Partners, we facilitated high-quality introductions with decision-makers, ensuring it wasn’t just about meeting, but about moving forward.
In a landscape where the right people are often the hardest to reach, Chili Shelf moved fast and stayed focused. That early momentum? It’s now a foundation for long-term partnership success.

What We Took Away (and You Should Too)
These projects couldn’t have been more different, even with their shared goal of “expanding their partnership network”. But that’s the point.
At Fun Inc, we don’t come in with a fixed formula. Some teams need acceleration. Others need direction. We bring the perspective, support, and structure to help you scale your impact-your way.
