Every business faces a moment where a great idea and plenty of info just aren’t enough. You have the vision, the passion, and the drive, but you’re missing the crucial connection point that turns ambition into a tangible outcome.
At Fun Inc, we see this story unfold time and time again with our clients. They’re innovators and experts in their fields, but they come to us feeling lost, maybe isolated, or simply ready for a new chapter.
They need more than just a plan; they need a partner to help them execute it.
This is the central thread that connects four very different success stories:
Spectrum Groupe UK (Spectrum), Jaanga, Work Wranglers, and Marketplace Expert.
Each had a unique challenge, but all four found their breakthrough by taking strategic, hands-on action.
The Problem: A Multitude of Ideas, But No Clear Roadmap
Whether you’re an established company looking to forge a new identity or a founder trying to untangle a complex business, the challenge is often the same: navigating a sea of possibilities without a clear map or compass.
This was certainly the case for Jaanga. The co-founder, Samantha, knew what they wanted but wasn’t sure on execution. As Andy put it to them in the pre-sales call:
In the end, their most pressing issue of all was a stagnant pricing structure that wasn’t loud enough amongst all the priorities.
Similarly, Spectrum, a successful branch of a larger company, wanted to better establish itself as the Platinum Solution partner that it is, while also being less reliant on the mother company for marketing support, but the big question was how to get their new marketing guru fully up and running in an ecosystem they had never worked in before.
For both, the potential was clear, but the path to get there wasn’t. They needed a partner who could do more than just consult - they needed someone who could help them build the bridge from where they were to where they wanted to be.
The Fun Inc Approach: Action Over Aspiration
Our philosophy is simple: “Info and ideas are great, but action and results are better.”
Instead of a complex, theoretical proposal, our initial engagement with Spectrum was a highly agile, two-month project focused on immediate execution. We didn’t just give them a marketing plan and hope for the best; we helped their new marketing guru build it fast and launch it in the first month.
The most visible result was the dramatic transformation of their LinkedIn presence - from “boring posts” to “bright, colorful, diversified, attention-grabbing” content.
Niamh, their marketing manager, shared her confidence in the process: “I don’t think I would have been able to get to the place I am without the help of Fun Inc. I went from knowing nothing about Atlassian’s ecosystem, to having over 15 years of knowledge embedded into me… (or at least, available over the Confluence share.”
For Jaanga, this hands-on approach meant going beyond the initial consulting contract. Recognizing the urgency of the pricing issue, we took the initiative to fix their complex pricing sheet ourselves, providing immediate, tangible relief. Within the first month of engagement, the top three priorities for Jaanga were either deep in progress or resolved. And on top of this, Samantha was so impressed by the clarity our collaborative Confluence space provided: “Everything now is clear - I don’t have anything left for the “brain dump” segments of our calls, I know what all my current actions are, which directions I am heading in, and more importantly, I know which priorities need less (or no) attention.” So, in case of Jaanga seeking direction in the “giant forest” of their business strategy, they needed to go to the pine cones first, therefore!
This is how we align with our clients. We leverage your in-depth knowledge of your business and the challenges you face, and translate it into a concrete, actionable plan that your team can own and implement. We become a part of your team, providing direct guidance and a shared path forward.
The Result: Clarity, Confidence, and Growth
Each of our clients emerged from their projects with a renewed sense of purpose and a clear roadmap for the future.
For Work Wranglers, a successful company that relied on word-of-mouth referrals, the challenge was to create a professional brand identity that reflected the high-level PMO Consulting projects they handled for clients such as the NFL and LA Clippers. We helped them rebrand, creating a modern, professional appearance that turned strategic ideas into “action and pretty much immediate results.“ The project, which was crafted as an affordable solution over three months, quickly expanded into a 12-month contract as the results began “speaking for themselves.“
Founder and president Heather noted, “Fun Inc isn’t just creating marketing materials; they’re helping clarify our brand messaging and positioning in a competitive market.”
For Marketplace Expert, a company that had gone down an isolated path within its own ecosystem, the most impactful moment came when we challenged their core beliefs. Our bold advice - to meet with their target partners two months before they felt they were ready - forced them to confront the reality of their flawed strategy. We helped them pause and re-evaluate, preventing them from losing time, money, and opportunities.
Did it impact our own business? Sure… the project is now on “perma-hold” (An Andy term. Apologies!) as they evaluate and consider their immediate next steps. However, even with the project on hold, they now have a better path forward for when they’re ready to get back to work. As their partner marketing manager, Mariia, put it, she was “green in this” and appreciated the team’s guidance, noting that their feedback was “super useful in helping me with the correct positioning of our products and gaining vital feedback quickly from our target audience”.
The Connection: One Crucial Link
Four unique challenges.
Four tangible results.
The crucial connection point is the shift from passive planning to active partnership. We don’t just provide answers; we provide a clear roadmap and the hands-on support to get you where you need to go.
As Jaanga’s Samantha put it, “It’s really been helpful for me to be able to take everything apart into pieces, work through it one at a time, without missing a vital item thanks to Fun Inc’s focus and energy”.
This is what strategic action is all about: breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, providing hands-on support, and building the confidence to execute with clarity and purpose.
